Twice As Nice is always interested in consigning household decor items and furniture.  We receive lots of requests for wicker furniture, bedroom chests of drawers, nightstands, bookcases, recliners, sofa beds, loveseats, end tables, and dining room sets.  Many folks are asking for 'painted' furniture, also.  Please call us if you have any of these items & interested in selling them!

      Doris Evich, Owner of Twice As Nice, is driven to bringing to the community a shop where women can look and feel their best at a cost that is affordable! This journey that began many years ago for Doris has exploded into a vision of "pay it forward". "Cleaning out your closet" has taken on a whole new meaning for Doris and many of the other women that Consign and shop at Twice As Nice as well. Doris wants Twice As Nice to be a place where "recycling" your clothing will invoke a benefit for the Consignor as well as the Customer. Twice As Nice was chosen as Winner in the Myrtle Beach Herald Readers Choice awards for Favorite Consignment Shop in the area by Waccamaw Publishers.  This includes the Myrtle Beach Herald & Visitors Edition, the Carolina Forest Chronicle, The Horry Independent, The Loris Scene, and the News & Shopper for 2012.  This award means so much to us!!  We were chosen as Finalist in 2011.

Twice As Nice was also voted as Finalist in the Sun News 'Best of the Beach Consignment Shop' contest, also.  We truly appreciate your votes and confidence.  It is wonderful to know that we are liked by so much people in the Myrtle Beach area.  Many sincere thank you's to all of you.  It's because of your loyalty that makes all this possible, and we do not take this lightly.

How To Become a Consigner with Twice As Nice:

 Clothing:
If you’ve got great clothing, shoes or accessories in your closet that you’re not wearing right now, put them to work for you by consigning with Twice As Nice. We make consigning easy and want to help you get the most for all of your items.
We accept women’s clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry and accessories. We specialize in current fashions (bought within the last 2 years) in popular, better boutique and designer labels. The cleanliness and appearance of your items are very important. Please take the time to presort your items to ensure that they are in excellent condition. They must be clean, odor-free, pressed and on hangers. Please, no garbage bags. (Items offered with stains, snags, tears, missing buttons, or in need of cleaning will not be accepted.) 
 
We accept clothing seasonally. Our schedule is as follows:
  • January - April                Spring Clothing
  • May – July                      Summer Clothing
  • August - September       Fall Clothing
  • September - December  Winter Clothing

Jill, Tahari, Talbot’s, Gap, Banana Republic, J.Crew, Abercrombie & Fitch, DKNY, Seven, Kate Spade, Coach, Dooney & Bourke, as well as new boutique clothing from local department stores’ past seasons, at a fraction of the original price...

Furniture:
We consign vintage, shabby chic and unique contemporary furniture. If you have furniture that you would like to consign with us, please e-mail the pictures to twiceasnice@sccoast.net and Doris will review the photos and either email you back or call you. Please make sure to include your contact information in the email. 

Home Decor-Art-Books-Misc. Household Items:
We consign a wide range of home decor items, art, books, dishes (no china please) and glasses. Other household items will be accepted at our discretion.

Consignment Percentage & Payments:
You will receive 50% of the final selling price on consigned clothing and hoiusehold pieces. Consignors receive 60% of the selling price for furniture items. Payment may be redeemed in cash, check, or store credit.  Consignment period has been increased to 90 days now, to insure that all merchandise will sell for you. Any pickups at the end of the 90-day period is the responsibility of the consignor and there will be a $5.00 fee to work with you on this.  But we encourage you to donate any unnsold items and there is no processing fee added to (or minused) from your account, we want everything to sell for you!
 
Consignment Times:
We accept consignments by appointment only. Tuesday thru Thursday 11-3, please call for an appointment. We are also happy to provide a convenient “Drop & Run” service for registered consignors after their first consignment. If you’re on your lunch hour or have an engagement, simply drop off your items during these business hours and run!  We will then choose items to consign and return the rest. We request that you return within 1 day to pick up any “no thank-you’s”. Due to limited storage space, we we will donate any items left longer than 1 day to charity if they are not picked up.
 
Pricing your items
We base our prices on supply and demand, condition, label, and original retail price. All prices will be determined by Twice As Nice employees, taking into consideration your comments, etc. Your items will remain on the floor for 90 days, with reductions in price taken at our discretion. Unsold items will be donated to a local charity or disposed of at the discretion of Twice As Nice. We are proud to partner with The Promise Land Ministries to donate any unsold items. Please click on the link below for further information on this charity. 


   

 Frequent Shopper Cards are Available:

For every visit with a minimum $20 purchase of ladies clothing and accessories (does not apply to furniture purchases), you will receive a personal shopper card with a special "punch". Once the card is completely punched, you get $20 of FREE merchandise!  This is a wonderful way to get freebies!
